We welcome everyone to join us in our STEM Education Initiatives! Here at SLACKERS Foundation, we believe that Science belongs to everyone! Scientific literacy and public interest should be abounding. So, why aren't they? 

The problem is the very solution... Exposure. Every human possesses the capability to understand Science at every age. The key to widespread scientific literacy lies in widespread STEM education. 

I am reminded of the age old adage, "It takes a village to raise a child." Likewise, it takes a village to teach a child. What if that child could teach a village the value of teaching its children? 

We educate students about how to become teachers. Do we teach students that educators are still students themselves? Exactly to what degree do teachers remain students? Do we truly create and foster an environment for continued STEM education in our society? 

Although there is finally a change occurring for increased interdisciplinary research, there is still a lot left to be desired for interdisciplinary STEM education. Come join our efforts as both an educator and a student, as we embark on this journey to both teach and learn from our youth! 

That is what SLACKERS Foundation is all about... Empowering youth to take control of their education and the trajectory of humanity's future on this planet. It is their future and their planet to inherit. Here, we give them the tools they need to innovate, progress, and survive in our ever changing world.

The SLACKERS Foundation origins began with the idea for a simple College Club, and blossomed into a student created Non-profit Organization for STEM Education Reform. Our dream is to see a Chapter of the SLACKERS CLUB at every College and University in the nation, and perhaps one day... the World! 

Science education belongs to everybody. It belongs to all of us. Inside of every student is a teacher, just as inside of every teacher is a student. The power to change the future and save the world is inside of each and every human on this planet. 

We stand at a precipice in our planetary history, not only human history. What we do next will determine the future to come. We have a choice about whether we do something, or nothing at all. SLACKERS Foundation was conceived for this very purpose. To do something. 

We offer our support to every Chapter of the SLACKERS CLUB, as well as opportunities for research, partnerships, funding, scholarships, and so much more! Take advantage of the opportunities to join our STEM Education Initiatives and start a SLACKERS CLUB Chapter at your local College or University!
